Education and freedom are in my soul, and teaching and mentoring is my jam.

As a high school English teacher, I never followed the system.

I always searched for better methods to help increase motivation and student success.

After trying many techniques and strategies, I realized the system was limiting and didn’t want to change.

So, when my son was born, I became a full-time mom and homeschooler. As we jumped into homeschooling, it quickly became apparent that we both hated it. We were so frustrated.

We were both crying everyday! 😢

I knew this is not how it’s supposed to be.

I stopped everything, did a Family Reset, and read and reread. Quickly, I realized I was doing exactly what I knew didn't work in school. I was box-checking! 🗸

Now we have the most amazing family relationships, rich love of learning culture and a teen who owns his own education and is a lifelong learner!

When I noticed other families wondering if homeschooling might be right for them, I knew that they would go through the same problems I had starting out—even though I was a teacher!

This was my AHA moment! 💡

I knew, based on my own study, experience and mentoring, that I could help homeschool parents do the same and created the Raising Leaders Roadmap.

In this work, I have found my true calling—helping families inspire their children to be lifelong learners, nurture a passion for freedom, and discover their unique passions and mission!

For every person that pursues his/her unique passions and mission, the world and freedom moves forward.

It all starts with a deep, consistent love of learning.
